— Hope Flamewhisper
|
Hope Flamewhisper is a character in an alternate universe.
Appearance[]
She looks similar to her Primeline counterpart, albeit she lacks the purple fabric that would have covered her right eye and her hair is notably more unkempt and covering the right side of her face. With the fabric gone and her hair swept to the side, scratch marks stretching from just above her right eyebrow stretching down to the base of the fire tattoo on her cheek become visible. Similar to her weapon of choice, the soles of her Swift Boots have splotches of red and make a faint crunching noise when she walks with them on. She wields a brightly lit Luma Sun Ray Rod that is often crusted with blood and carries around the decapitated head of a Luma hybrid close to her.
Personality[]
She lacks touch with reality, suggested by her cheerful nature, even while slaughtering those she cared for. Additionally, she has the tendency to interact with a deceased Scarlet—whether by talking to the dragon's head or by having the deceased dragon say goodbye to her victims before she kills them.
Weapons/Gear[]
Draconyx Gear Wings: The wings of the Draconyx Gear. Useful for flight.
Swift Boots: Blue boots that were created to aid in silent movement.
Luma Sun Ray Rod: A polearm with a blade capable of reaching temperatures beyond flesh-melting.
Scarlet's Head: ...
Abilities[]
Powers/Abilities[]
Pyrokinesis: Being the Fire Warden, she has extensive control of fire magic.
Thermokinesis: Like her father once could, she can increase her body temperature at will.
Astral Magic: Uses it more frequently than her Primeline counterpart, albeit she still has much better control over Fire magic.
Polearm Proficiency: Despite being deranged, she can be alarmingly quick with her spear and seems to have better control than her Primeline counterpart and her father.
Strengths[]
- Earth Magic: Burn all vegetation to a crisp.
- Ice Magic: Melted it.
Weaknesses[]
- Water Magic: A counter to Hope's magic.
- Shadow Magic: Even as a warden, Shadow magic still holds an advantage over Hope's fire magic.
- Insanity: Hope has problems distinguishing reality from her imagination and lacks proper emotional regulation, almost always appearing cheerful and excited regardless of what she's doing.
Trivia[]
- She was originally discreet about her kills and targeted random civillians and monsters, using the process as an attempt to drown out various unwanted emotions. However, this resulted in an increasing disconnect from reality and murder quickly became something she did more and more frequently, fueled further by the exhilaration at the thought of being caught.
- She ended up incriminating herself while in the process of killing her parents, as she wasn't particularly quiet and attacked them both at once. Although, by the time she was found, Hope had already become the Fire Warden and her mother was bleeding out from several puncture wounds in her lungs.
- Not long after killing a terrified Scarlet, Hope nearly gouged her right eye out with her hands. The only reason she still has her eye is because Scarlet supposedly told her to stop.
