Zane is a protagonist in The Academy's Secret.
Appearance[]
He wears the Black Fang, Black Fang Coat, and the Duelist Boots. His weapon of choice is the Clawed Staff. He has amber eyes and brown hair.
Personality[]
During the Academy's Secret, Zane had a very sarcastic attitude, and he also seems to take a pleasure in irritating Monokuma. As of Magical Girls of Prodigy Island! Mission One: Save the Boys!, he has a more humorous attitude.
Weapons/Gear[]
- Black Fang: A piece of headgear only worn by the Black Fang officers.
- Black Fang Coat: A coat made with the fur of the mythical beast Black Fang. Only worn by the Black Fang officers.
- Duelist Boots: The boots worn by a fellow Duelist, a talented fighter.
- Clawed Staff: A staff with the real paw of Black Fang on it. The claws can kill someone.

- Zane can turn into a brown-furred wolf as he pleases.
Strengths[]
- He has enhanced speed and strength as a wolf.
- His teeth as a wolf are abnormally powerful, being able to shatter Lucy's katana with a single bite.
- He is shown to have excellent coordination, being able to catch Lucy's katana while it was spinning in the air after throwing it up in the air with his feet.
Weaknesses[]
- As a wolf, he suffers from dog-like instincts, occasionally including chasing cats (other than Pan), titans, squirrels, and his tail.
- He cannot communicate with other wizards as a wolf.
Trivia[]
- His tail has a mind of it's own.
