He takes quite a while to trust and can get incredibly overprotective if those he does, Ravena and Braxton being the only people he cares for at the moment.
Zayden also gets incredibly self-conscious and jealous when others are better than him, most notably shown in his mounting dislike of Raiden.
Backstory[]
Starting life out as a simple wizard with his life torn apart by the Faen war, he was “adopted” by the Lady as one of the first recruits—and the only one besides Braxton to survive.
He quickly ascended the ranks with his talent and ability to flatter the Lady, becoming a captain and respected leader. The power would’ve gotten to his head were it not for Ravena—a disliked ragtag who seemed to be doing her best to be kicked out or killed with her antics. Zayden quickly took her under his wing and began to escape the Lady’s abusive mindset, eventually running away and hiding in the very walls that had once restrained him.
