Zion Deadstaff is a character who appears in Forged by Obsidian and Down Memory Lane.
Appearance[]
A dark, young druid with human feet instead of tentancle roots. He wears his warlock attire at all times because it "suits him more than any other rags," as he himself claims. He tries his best to conceal his face, but the glimmer reflected from his eyes always seems to shine through.
Personality[]
Empty, generally void of mirth. He was raised in a small household with barely any support from his parents, only seeing them as employers after the began asking him to do dark work for them. He feels like he needs to be of service to them to appease their desire to scold him, something he always gets emotional over. He is vengeful and the subject of pity by many around him, even those he tries to resist.
Those that do not know him very well see him as a threat, knowing he walks and talks like a warlock and hides in forests like a crazed plantbender. He has never enjoyed the presence of energetic people because they tire him out. Zion is naturally attractive to animals, but he'd rather hide from them.
Weapons/Gear[]
- Deadwood Staff: A crytal-tipped staff made with the same materials as the staff of his father. Nike broke it in half.
- Parka Hood: A black hood without the fluff. It is tattered on the ends.
- Warlock's Robe: A purple and black, long-sleeved outfit with a torn cape.
- Warlock's Slippers: A pair of musty shoes that appear to have fashion points lower than those of his deceased grandmother.
Abilities[]
- Shadow Magic: He has somewhat strong Shadow combat magic. His power over the element is improved greatly with the use of his staff.
- Earth Magic: A little bit of innate chlorokinesis from his Vinequeen blood.
